Dr. Hassan Saeed is a Maldivian legal professional and former Attorney General, with experience spanning the judiciary, legal reform and public service. He has served as Chief Judge of the Criminal Court and Juvenile Court, President of the Law Commission, and an adviser to two presidents.
He holds degrees in law and comparative law from the International Islamic University Malaysia and a PhD from the University of Queensland, Australia. Through this website, he shares reflections on law, political history and current affairs, drawing on his experience of public life in the Maldives.
